Okeechobee…nay say it as O-kee-choi-bee….coolly named fresh water lake in the marshlands!!! Herbert hoover ordered a Hoover Dyke to be built around the lake to prevent flooding…..this means that you have to crawl up the dyke to get a view of the marshes and the lake…..too lazy to do that on a sunny afternoon!!!
