High Speed Thrills…misplaced @ champ cars
A shot from the San Jose Grand prix, 2006. It takes a lot of patience to click fast moving car (150mph) in a single frame! This was my best attempt and save for the barricades, it seems a reasonable one! Although I must admit that by F1 standards, the champ car series failed to liven me up..the sound was bore, the engines cut off too quickly at (comparatively) low speeds and they use slick tires!!!!! OK that increases the speed, but these guys had a noticable oversteer whenever they went in to the turns…speaks volumes about drivers abilities to handle those speeds!!!! Overhyped and underperformed, by no means the best motorsport action money can buy!
